Chinese Patent Herbs  

I also have a qualification in Patent Chinese Herbal Formulae and may prescribe a Herbal Medicine to complement your acupuncture treatment.

The Patent herbs come in tablet form, as opposed to boiling the raw ingredients up into a tea, making them a more palatable and convenient option.

The Herbs are very gentle in nature, yet powerful in their ability to heal and bring balance back to the body. They are especially good at treating the illness directly and replenishing what the body has lost.

You are assessed in the same manner as that of an acupuncture treatment and a specific Chinese diagnosis is made. The Herbal Medicine is then taken over a number of weeks and consultations are generally monthly.

None of the Patent Medicines I use contain any animal or mineral components.

They have to comply with the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine, to ensure that the dosage and prescription has been passed by quality control and are appropriate for your needs.

Under the present  EU guidlines I am unable to provide my patients with Patent Herbs.
