What does BAcC stand for?

British Acupuncture Council.  This is the umbrella organisation under which fully qualified Acupuncturists are registered in the UK. (See logo below). The BAcC ensures that all its members have an extensive four-year undergraduate training at specialist colleges. They expect all their members to maintain high standards of education, hygiene procedures approved by the Department of Health, follow strict codes of Ethics, Safe Practice and Confidentiality at all times. As part of maintaining our registration Acupuncturists have a mandatory obligation to accomplish a minimum 30 hours of Continual Professional Development (CPD) every year.
